這首歌早在1982年就由一個英國樂團 Tears For Fears 所寫與演唱，
最初版本 by Tears For Fears
後來這首歌有了很多的翻唱版本，最有名的應該就是最近被 XBOX 拿來當廣告歌，游戏"Gears of War" (《战争机器》)主题曲，由 Gray Jules與Michael Andrews 在2001為了電影Donnie Darko配樂所演唱的版本。這個版本還出現在 CIS 第六季第二集中當背景音樂。
