So, why Chinese games and animes cannot be famous? Why most of the fans like Japanese ones?

I have an example.

Dragon Ball, a famous Japanese anime. The character Son Gouku has the most fans. He married with Chichi, the Ox King's daughter. His son is named as Son Gohan.

Do you know the movie "Western Journey"? The Japanese made it earlier than Chinese. The opening song is "Monkey Magic" and the lyric is English. I never know this before I watched the anime "Lucky Star". Konata's weird voice made me remember it when I saw her.
